I was born and raised in Orange County and earned my B.A. in English from Cal State Fullerton. Before pursuing a career in teaching, I worked as both a tutor and an instructional aide at both the middle and high school level.
I’m passionate about all forms of art that involve reading and writing, including literature, music, and film; I truly believe that reading is one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding ourselves and the world around us.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll often find me at the beach, exploring secondhand bookstores, or enjoying a competitive round of board games with friends and family. I also love to travel and have gathered plenty of stories and photos along the way—feel free to ask if you’re curious!
