I grew up in Santa Ana and have been passionate about soccer my entire life. I played collegiate soccer at UCLA from 2008–2011, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, before moving to Europe to pursue a professional soccer career. From 2010–2019, I also represented the United States as a member of the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team.
My passion for soccer, education, and community development led me to co-found La Academia in 2018, a nonprofit soccer program that uses the sport as a vehicle to promote educational attainment, personal development, and social mobility for young people in our community.
Prior to my current role, I served as the Work-based Learning Coordinator at Samueli Academy, where I helped connect students with meaningful opportunities to explore careers, develop professional skills, and gain real-world experience.
Today, I am proud to continue my work at Samueli Academy, empowering the next generation of students and helping create pathways for them to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
