Ms. Brenda Noarbe

I was born in the Philippines, grew up in Singapore, and moved to California in 2016 to attend the University of California, Irvine, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience in 2021. I briefly worked as a researcher studying brain conditions (Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury, and the effects of early life stress) using magnetic resonance imaging. Through my work on early life adversity, I realized that one of the most impactful ways to help people overcome challenges is through presence and community support. This insight inspired me to leave academia in 2024 and join the Samueli Academy community as the resident STEM tutor.
