After six wonderful years of working with at-risk youth and staff at Orangewood Children’s Foundation, I was given the opportunity to become Samueli Academy Campus Supervisor in August 2013. I’m responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the students’ meals, managing the volunteers, monitoring the students’ behavior on campus as well as interacting with them on a daily basis. I also assist with the Front Office and have volunteered for many events that involve Samueli Academy and Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Because of this, I have strong connections with the wonderful community of Santa Ana in which I was born and raised. Every day in this new adventure brings challenges that I embrace, and I have grown to love these students and care about their well-being.
