I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Ethnic Studies. For my M.A., I attended the University of Washington. I was born and raised in Escondido, Ca (near San Diego). I have served in education for over ten years and I have taught classes ranging from 6th-12th grade in subjects including Ancient World History, English, AP Language and Composition, and ACT Prep. In my current role, I am looking forward to cultivating a safe and supportive campus climate for all students.
