I am a veteran project-based social studies teacher, having taught for a combined fifteen years both in California and my home state of Maine. This is my seventh year at Samueli Academy, and I’m thrilled to be a part of a school that embraces 21st century practices in high school education. I am excited to be teaching World Humanities to Samueli 10th graders!
Born and raised in Maine, I attended Colby College (majoring in Government), and later Stanford University (Masters in Education). I recently also earned my Masters in Educational Leadership with a focus on technology.
I am passionate about music and spending time in the great outdoors (many years ago I got to hike the entire Appalachian Trail!). I live in Irvine with my wife, daughter, and son.
