Blaine Jones is one of the founding teachers at Samueli Academy, serving as the original science facilitator in 2013. Since then he has taught Earth Science, Environmental Science, Digital Photography, AP classes and dual-enrollment classes with Santa Ana College. He’s also helped to create both the boys and girls golf teams.
Mr. Jones spent the first 12 years of his professional career as a hydrologist, focussing on water supply and watershed management issues across the State of California. He brings a deep passion for water and rainfall into the classroom, frequently focussing on local and regional water management issues as part of his projects.
Mr. Jones also has several hobbies he is passionate about. He loves hiking and backpacking, golfing, photography, and baseball. Go Angels!
