I knew studying education was my calling when I became a program coordinator for a UCLA based outreach project in 2006. By 2008, I functioned as a representative to the UCLA Admissions Advisory Board, all the while working within UCLA’s Law admission office. After I graduated with a B.A. in English Literature, I was launched into a career of international affairs for education based initiatives that served refugee youth and developing countries. I have since earned my MEd from Concordia in Educational Leadership.

I was once a teacher and taught high school in predominately English subject areas, history, and human geography, while also teaching adults business writing, public speaking, and English as a foreign language. As a hobby, I edit books for publishing and am myself a published author of a children’s book.

I am extremely excited to build a family of alumni Firewolves, secure their success, and strengthen their lifetime bond to Samueli Academy!
