I am a native Texan that decided to move to “Sunny San Diego” in 2007. I originally went to school to be an elementary school teacher, then halfway through the program decided that high school was a better fit for me. I first began teaching Graphic Design in 2009 then after receiving my business credential, I taught both design and business.

In 2012 I moved to Orange County and taught both business and design at a local school in Costa Mesa. I started teaching Virtual Enterprise about 4 years ago. Then it hit me, out of all of the classes I have ever taught during my teaching career, this was the class that I truly loved teaching because of the positive impact it has on students’ lives not only during their senior year but in their adult lives as well.

My goal for every Samueli Academy senior is to take many of the real life lessons they learn in VE and use it in some, if not all parts of their lives once they graduate and beyond.

Public Charter School for all students - no tuition fees. Take high school and college classes at the same time.
