The day I learned to read in kindergarten, I came home and told my parents that I wanted to be a teacher. Throughout my adolescence, that desire to be continuously immersed in the world of education grew stronger and became directed specifically toward high school English. After graduating high school, I attended Biola University for my BA in English, Secondary Education. Later, I received my Master’s degree in English from UCI. I love living out my passion for learning at Samueli Academy, teaching Freshman ELA and AP Language and Composition. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, running, reading, and gaming.
