Viva La Cultura

Selected Design students at Samueli Academy were chosen to participate in a local event called Viva La Cultura and hosted by Ford Motor Company for the launch of their new electric truck to the Hispanic community. Four students teamed up with local artist Ericka Osorio to create a vibrant 10′ x 7′ mural depicting the truck with rich elements of Hispanic culture flowing out of its bed. The mural was completed at the event, earning the students widespread recognition, including accolades and a scholarship from Ford Motor Company for their creative efforts and contribution to the cultural celebration.
