“Attending Samueli Academy is one of the best things that has happened to me. It really changed my entire life around, from barely passing my classes to getting honor roll every semester.” – Alitzel, Class of 2019
“I was a foster kid when I came to Samueli Academy. I was quiet and ashamed of who I was. After I performed in a National History Day competition, I was like a new person. I was like a flower blooming in the night.” – Leilah, Class of 2018
“I didn’t think about going to college. I saw myself working in the landscape business. Samueli Academy opened doors to a transformational internship and my teachers never gave up on me. I don’t know where I’d be if it wasn’t for Samueli Academy.” – A.J., Class of 2017
“The alumni program emphasizes that there is a community all around us even after we graduate. We know we have people to help us succeed after high school. I don’t think any other school can match this resource.”– Violet Vega, Class of 2017
