Alumni Relations & Success Program

The Alumni Success Program (ASP) at Samueli Academy was established in 2017 to preserve the strong sense of community built during students’ time at the school. Led by alumni themselves, the program provides holistic support, resources, and programming to empower graduates to become independent, successful, and impactful young adults. ASP supports alumni for four years after high school graduation and serves hundreds of graduates from diverse backgrounds, offering equitable engagement regardless of academic performance, socio-economic status, or chosen pathway. Through peer mentorship and collective decision-making, ASP fosters a culture of support, accountability, and inclusion.

A defining strength of the program is its community-based model, which emphasizes peer-to-peer support to enhance self-worth and drive personal efficacy. With 97% of alumni pursuing higher education and persistence rates nearly double the national average, the program’s impact is clear. Alumni attend institutions across the country and internationally, yet remain deeply connected through a shared culture of growth and mutual uplift. The ASP office—both physical and virtual—ensures accessibility and engagement at every stage of an alumnus’s journey.

Ultimately, ASP’s belief is simple but powerful: if one alumnus excels, the entire community benefits; if one struggles, the community responds. This social network of support, recognized in a UC Irvine study published by the American Educational Research Association, is the foundation of ASP’s success. Wherever you go, the pack will follow.
